The school morning  times: 9.10am – 12.40pm

Breakfast club

Breakfast club is open Monday -Friday this term from 8am.

Please let the office know the day before if you wish your child to attend.

Lunch club

Lunch club is open  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this term.

Makaton

We have introduced Makaton sign language as part of our weekly curriculum. Each class is taught by our qualified Makaton teacher.

Toddle walk 13th June 2024.

Our chosen charity for this year’s toddle is Noah’s Ark.

On Thursday 13th June, 2024 Greenway Kindergarten will be completing our sponsored walk, in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

Noah’s Ark helps babies, children and young people who are seriously unwell, and their families, make the most of every day. And they support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family.

One such child is Gabriella. In the words of Gabriella’s mother:

“When it was first suggested that we could be helped by a ‘hospice’ I thought it would be all doom and gloom and sadness, but it’s so positive and full of life. I only wish I’d found Noah’s Ark earlier – they’re a lifeline.”

Children’s palliative care is a vital part of any modern healthcare system, and yet only a tiny fraction of their income comes from the government, meaning that they rely on the generosity of groups such as us. I know things aren’t easy for many of us in the UK right now but any donation you can give for our sponsored walk would help to create special memories that will last a lifetime.

Pumpkin Patch Party

Dear Parents & Carers,

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Pumpkin Patch Party. 

It was fantastic to have such a brilliant turn out with almost all of the children attending along with lots of lovely parents/carers and friends. 

We hope your children all enjoyed the activities and that you enjoyed the opportunity to have some fun with your children along with their friends and meeting each other’s families. 

 We are very proud to share that we raised over £300! Thank you to everyone that helped with making this event such a success.

Dear Parents,
Firstly, we would like to start off by thanking everyone who attended our summer party last term. We had a fantastic turnout with our Greenway children, alongside their family and friends. The event has raised over £500 for our preschool.
Our fundraising enables our preschool to purchase items to support our children’s learning and development. It also allows us to purchase gifts for occasions, such as Easter Eggs delivered by the bunny.
In addition to fundraising to support Greenway, one of our aims for the PTA this year, was to create opportunities to come together as a community. We believe this enriches the Greenway experience for the children and their families. Seeing so many of you join in for a good old Hokey Cokey and having fun together was pretty special!
What’s next?
Sadly, several of the PTA members’ children  finished their Greenway journey in the  summer, so some team members will be left. However, we also have members continuing  who we are sure will continue to create more memories.
The PTA is always open to more members. If you would like to get involved, please let Mrs. Aaronson know.
